Operating within an advanced, multifaceted research ecosystem, you will champion the compliance framework for complex, non-standard computational environments. This is a premier opportunity to align cutting-edge cybersecurity strategies with elite federally sponsored research goals, establishing a resilient security posture that directly enables technological innovation and national defense compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion the comprehensive protection and strategic administration of classified and unclassified infrastructures across Secret and Top-Secret/SCI domains.

  • Enforce absolute alignment with rigorous federal regulatory protocols governing the generation, storage, transmission, and defense of critical national security records.

  • Architect and maintain exhaustive cybersecurity documentation, creating robust System Security Plans (SSPs) to assure full compliance with diverse agency frameworks.

  • Drive continuous cross-functional collaboration to navigate nuanced researcher requirements, contract milestones, and agency expectations for rapid project launches and proposals.

  • Synthesize advanced technical controls within complex, non-standard computational and laboratory testing architectures.

  • Validate institutional compliance during specialized legal proceedings, active research operations, and government-backed strategic initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Active Top Secret Clearance: Definite United States citizenship with a verified, current TS clearance and immediate SCI eligibility.

  • Cybersecurity Leadership: Deep professional experience acting as an ISSO, ISSE, or Systems Security Lead within the Aerospace, Defense, or Federal Contracting sectors.

  • Technical Compliance Mastery: Authoritative knowledge of federal security authorization processes, risk management frameworks, and system hardening benchmarks.

  • Adaptive Systems Engineering: Proven background managing security architectures for unconventional, non-standard operational environments and research infrastructures.

  • Academic Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution alongside 8 to 20 years of progressive expertise in information assurance.

  • Core Compensation: Highly competitive base annual salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000, commensurate with specialization and clearance depth.

  • Performance & Equity Incentives: Direct eligibility for elite contract-based performance rewards and organizational milestone recognition.

  • Health & Wellness Perks: Premium medical, dental, and vision insurance packages paired with comprehensive mental health resources.

  • Future Planning: Exceptional retirement planning featuring an industry-leading 10% 401(k) organizational contribution alongside comprehensive life insurance policies.
