AI Product Owner long term Hybrid - Sandy Springs

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid Sandy Springs / Perimeter area)
Work Model: Hybrid minimum 2 full days onsite per week, additional days as requested
Duration: Long-term contract with potential conversion after 12 18 months

We are seeking a Senior Product Analyst with 10+ years of experience supporting complex digital products in Agile environments. This is a hands-on role focused on requirements definition, backlog ownership, stakeholder collaboration, and quality delivery.

The ideal candidate has deep experience translating business needs into well-defined product requirements and has worked closely with engineering teams on enterprise-scale initiatives, including data-driven or AI-enabled products.

• Lead requirement discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders

• Translate complex business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation

• Own and manage the product backlog in Jira; drive backlog refinement and prioritization

• Act as the primary point of contact for requirement clarification throughout the SDLC

• Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, data, and QA teams to support delivery

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

• Perform and coordinate UAT and functional testing, ensuring solutions meet business expectations

• Support AI-enabled or data-driven initiatives by defining functional behavior, workflows, and success metrics

• Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies early and proactively communicate with stakeholders

• Ensure alignment between product delivery and business objectives

• 10+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role

• Strong hands-on experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria for complex systems

• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Advanced experience with Jira and Confluence

• Strong background in UAT, functional testing, and requirements validation

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor in a fast-paced environment

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) strongly preferred

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) preferred

• PMI-PBA, SAFe POPM, CSM acceptable with strong product/analysis background

• Agile, Product, or Business Analysis certifications are a plus

• Experience supporting AI, LLM, automation, or data-driven products

• Familiarity with UX collaboration tools (Figma, Miro, Lucidchart)

• Experience with enterprise platforms, SaaS, or cloud-based systems

• Understanding of analytics, KPIs, and product performance metrics
