Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Database Engineer to lead the migration of Oracle databases to modern, cloud-native database platforms preferably Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL and Graph Databases such as Neo4j or Amazon Neptune.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, and database performance tuning, with experience in migration planning and execution. 
Required Skills and Qualifications:
9+ years of experience working with Oracle databases
Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle performance optimization techniques.

Solid understanding of database internals and tuning methodologies.

Experience migrating Oracle workloads to PostgreSQL, ideally Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL.
Working knowledge of AWS cloud services including RDS, DMS, SCT.
Hands-on experience in schema migration, data migration, and application compatibility analysis.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have:

Experience with Redis for caching or in-memory data store use cases.
Exposure to microservices architectures and database integration patterns.
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Database Specialty) is a plus.
