Coax / Fiber Construction Quality Auditor (Telecom)

Overview:
Seeking a field-based Network Construction Quality Auditor with strong coax and fiber experience.
This role involves auditing telecom infrastructure, verifying installations, and ensuring quality standards across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct quality audits on telecom network construction
Inspect equipment (nodes, amplifiers, power supplies, fiber taps, enclosures, coax systems)
Verify rework completion and track corrective actions
Document findings using Smartsheet/MS Office
Read and interpret design prints
Communicate with internal teams and support troubleshooting
Work Environment:
80% field / 20% office
Travel required (up to 3-4 hours; hotel provided if needed)
Independent, self-driven role
Requirements:
Hands-on experience with coax & fiber construction (must-have)
Knowledge of amplifiers, taps, and coax systems
Ability to read network design prints
Basic MS Office/Teams/Smartsheet skills
Reliable transportation & willingness to travel
Preferred:
Network Maintenance Technician background
Telecom audit/QA experience
Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM
