Seeking an accomplished individual to oversee the firm's global platform security within the Information Security team. This role combines management, leadership, and hands-on technical work to drive security improvements across the firm in a complex, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and guide a team responsible for advancing the security of the firm's operating systems and infrastructure, with a particular focus on Linux environments.
  • Identify areas of weakness, allocate resources, and ensure that security improvements are delivered and integrated into the environment.
  • Collaborate with other infrastructure teams to drive projects such as sandboxing AI agents, implementing multifactor authentication for privileged workflows, and modernizing authentication stacks (including OIDC, MTLS, and Kerberos).
  • Drive hands-on technical project work, ensuring that changes are successfully designed, shipped, and adopted across the firm.

Required Skills:
  • 12 to 15 years of relevant hands-on experience, with a demonstrated ability to drive security projects from conception through implementation in complex Linux environments.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux security concepts, including Linux Security Modules (LSM), SELinux, AppArmor, authentication methods (Kerberos, OIDC, TLS, LDAP, spiffe, spire), cryptography primitives, certificates, and network protocols.
  • Proficiency in Unix shell scripting and basic Python development; a degree in computer science or a related technical discipline is preferred.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as eBPF, sandboxing (bubblewrap, landlock, firecracker), and related security tooling is highly desirable.
  • Extensive judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, make thoughtful trade-offs, and balance security, practicality, and business impact.
  • Experience using data to inform decisions and drive measurable improvements.
