SAP S/4HANA SD & Service Module Lead Consultant

Title: SAP S/4HANA SD & Service Module Lead Consultant Location: Boston, MA (Onsite) 
Duration: 12 Months 
 Position Overview 
Seeking a senior SAP S/4HANA Service Lead Consultant to drive endtoend implementations across complex enterprise environments. This role owns solution design, configuration, and delivery for S/4HANA Service processes including warranty management, inhouse repair, service contracts, service orders, serialization, and crossfunctional integrations with SD, MM, PP, LE, and FI/CO.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle S/4HANA projects using SAP Activate (Discover   Run).

• Own functional design for S/4HANA Service:

  • Inhouse repair (RMA, repair orders, quotations)

  • Service contracts & service orders

  • Resource planning, confirmations, T&M, billing integration

• Design & configure customer/vendor warranty processes:

  • Claims, entitlements, authorization checks

  • Parts/labor coverage, credit/debit memo handling

  • Vendor recovery

• Implement serialization & equipment master data:

  • Serial number management, install base, device history

• Integrate SD + Service for seamless leadtocash & servicetocash cycles.

• Define crossmodule integration with MM, LE, FI/CO; exposure to PP/PM/CS.

• Champion Clean Core: standard processes, Fiori apps, keyuser extensibility, BTP sidebyside extensions.

• Drive data migration, test management (Unit/SIT/UAT), cutover, and hypercare.

• Conduct workshops, create functional specs, guide ABAP/UI5 teams, deliver training.

• Advise on S/4HANA roadmap and best practices.

 Required Qualifications

• 10+ years SAP experience; 3+ years in S/4HANA Service.

• 2+ full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations leading Service scope.

• Deep expertise in:

  • S/4HANA Service (contracts, orders, inhouse repair, logistics integration, billing)

  • Warranty management (customer/vendor claims, entitlement checks, recovery)

  • Serialization & equipment master data

  • SD core (order mgmt, pricing, delivery, billing, returns)

• Strong crossmodule integration with MM, LE, FI/CO.

• Handson with Fiori apps, output management, pricing in S/4HANA.

• Strong testing, data migration, and cutover leadership.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

• S/4HANA Service certification required.

 Preferred Qualifications

• S/4HANA SD certification.

• Experience with RISE with SAP / Private Cloud.

• Knowledge of SAP BTP, CDS views, OData, CPI integration.

• Field Service planning/dispatching and mobile service execution experience.
