Electrical Engineer – Industrial Power Distribution (On‑site | Longview, TX)
We’re looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer who knows industrial power distribution inside and out. If you enjoy tackling complex power systems in a fast‑paced chemical manufacturing environment, this role might be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
You’ll design, maintain, and improve medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems across the plant. You’ll work with transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, UPS systems, and other critical equipment. You’ll review and approve electrical deliverables, produce single-line diagrams, validate project estimates, and make sure everything meets NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, OSHA, and hazardous-area requirements. This role also supports designers, verifies calculations, and helps solve layout and detailing challenges.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of industrial electrical engineering experience
- PE license strongly preferred
- Strong skills in system design, calculations, equipment sizing, and documentation
- Experience with 15kV systems, MCCs, substations, motors, and protective relays
- Familiarity with PLC/HMI/DCS systems is a plus
- Solid Microsoft Office skills and strong communication
