Summary

Team Lead - Deskside Support
Center - Washington, DC

Long-term opportunity (3-year engagement)

Onsite role (with occasional travel between local sites)
What You'll Be Doing

Lead & Manage Deskside Team
  • Oversee a team of 8-10 deskside support technicians
  • Manage schedules, productivity, and ticket flow
  • Drive a customer-first, high-service environment

Hands-On Technical Work
  • Actively work tickets in ServiceNow
  • Troubleshoot Windows, software, and hardware issues
  • Support incidents, IMACs (installs, moves, adds, changes), and device refreshes

Executive / VIP Support
  • Provide white-glove support to C-level executives and leadership
  • Handle high-priority / escalated issues in real time

Reporting & Operations
  • Deliver daily site reporting (ticket volume, priorities, performance)
  • Manage and resolve critical tickets impacting operations

Required Experience
  • Team Lead experience (Deskside preferred; Service Desk considered if hands-on)
  • Experience actively closing deskside tickets while leading a team
  • 3+ years Windows 10/11 support in a corporate environment
  • 5+ years total IT support experience (desktop / LAN / end-user support)
  • Experience supporting executives / VIP users
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Nice to Have
  • Healthcare / hospital environment experience
  • ServiceNow (or similar ticketing system)
  • Familiarity with Active Directory
  • Experience with peripherals (scanners, badge readers, printers, etc.)
  • Military leadership background

Work Environment & Details
  • Location: 100 Irving St NW, Washington, DC
  • Shift options: Early shift OR ~10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Parking: $60/month (out of pocket) or accessible via metro
  • Occasional on-call support for escalations (after hours/weekends)
  • Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated

This is a Contract position based out of Washington, DC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $39.00/hr.
