You will work within a cross-functional commerce pod alongside Android engineers, backend engineers, product leadership, design, quality engineering, security, and data teams. You will contribute to customer journeys across product discovery, offers, marketplace, checkout, payments, loyalty, order management, and fulfillment while helping establish engineering standards for a large-scale mobile platform.
-
Build large-scale iOS experiences by designing, developing, testing, and maintaining production-grade features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern Apple frameworks.
-
Deliver commerce capabilities spanning product discovery, catalog, offers, promotions, cart, checkout, payments, loyalty and rewards, order status, and fulfillment.
-
Own technical delivery from solution design and estimation through implementation, testing, release readiness, production validation, and operational support.
-
Shape mobile architecture through modular design, protocol-driven components, dependency management, reusable frameworks, and clear separation of concerns.
-
Integrate enterprise services using secure REST or GraphQL APIs, asynchronous networking, authentication, caching, error handling, and resilient offline-aware patterns.
-
Engineer for scale by optimizing startup time, rendering, memory, battery, network usage, concurrency, and responsiveness for a high-volume consumer application.
-
Protect transactional journeys by applying secure coding, Keychain storage, token handling, privacy controls, fraud-prevention integration, and payment security practices.
-
Improve quality through unit, integration, snapshot, and UI automation testing, effective code reviews, static analysis, and measurable quality gates.
-
Strengthen observability with analytics, structured logging, crash reporting, tracing, performance monitoring, dashboards, and actionable production alerts.
-
Collaborate across platforms with Android and backend engineers to align API contracts, domain models, edge cases, and consistent customer behavior.
-
Support reliable releases through CI/CD, feature flags, phased rollouts, App Store readiness, production monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
-
Lead through influence by mentoring engineers, facilitating technical discussions, documenting decisions, and raising engineering standards across the pod.
-
7+ years of professional iOS development experience, including significant ownership of complex production applications.
-
Advanced proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, iOS SDK, structured concurrency, and modern Apple development practices.
-
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering mobile capabilities for a large customer base, with strong attention to reliability, performance, and operational readiness.
-
Strong knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture, coordinator patterns, protocol-oriented design, and dependency injection.
-
Hands-on experience integrating RESTful or GraphQL services, authentication flows, JSON data models, caching, pagination, retries, and failure handling.
-
Strong understanding of memory management, application lifecycle, multithreading, networking, accessibility, localization, and responsive UI implementation.
-
Experience with XCTest, XCUITest, automated regression testing, mocking, test doubles, and maintainable test design.
-
Experience with Git-based development, pull-request reviews, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and App Store release processes.
-
Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues using logs, metrics, crash reports, traces, and customer-impact data.
