Position Overview:
- MTA IT is seeking a Senior System Administrator role with extensive enterprise level experience in hybrid cloud/on premises environments.
- Submit only candidates with verified 10+ years of Senior System Administrator experience in enterprise-level production environments.
- This candidate must be capable of designing, implementing, and supporting complex infrastructure solutions across Azure, Exchange, Active Directory, and multi forest hybrid architectures.
- Only highly qualified candidates with 10+ years of verified senior level experience will be considered.
Job Description:
- Solution architecture and procedural design
- Enterprise hybrid Microsoft Azure infrastructures
- Complex client server troubleshooting
- Windows and Unix operating system administration
- Microsoft System Management Server
- Multi-functional information architecture design
- Creating application architecture diagrams
- Migration tools and cloud configuration
- Providing guidance to junior staff and cross-functional technical teams
- Azure resource optimization, ExpressRoute, Microsoft SCCM
- Forefront Identity Manager, Entra Connect, SQL Server
- Strong scripting capability
- DNS, PKI, Group Policies
- Enterprise application system administration
Required Skills:
- Azure
- Microsoft certification preferred
- Microsoft Exchange
- Advanced enterprise level production experience in hybrid and multi Org environments
- Unix Shell Scripting or PowerShell Scripting
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Must have experience administering multi-forest hybrid AD environments
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Investigating, analysing, designing, developing, and evaluating enterprise IT system requirements
- Implementing and maintaining hybrid Azure/on-premises systems
- Designing and supporting hybrid Exchange environments
- Developing computerized systems, including studies, design, operations, and maintenance
- Establishing flexible information architectures supporting corporate needs
- Selecting, configuring, and using migration and cloud tools
- Troubleshooting complex client-server environments
- Supporting enterprise Active Directory, Azure, Windows Server, and Unix systems
- Leading or supporting large-scale infrastructure projects
- Candidates must have 10+ years of senior-level experience designing and implementing solutions in an enterprise production environment, specifically involving multi forest and hybrid on premises/cloud infrastructures.
