Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX and Southlake, TX (4 days a week onsite)

We're seeking a Senior .NET Web API Developer to design, build, and deploy mission-critical, enterprise-grade Web APIs that power mobile applications. You'll work in a modern engineering environment focused on resiliency, observability, and automated delivery.
Responsibilities
Design and implement RESTful, resilient API services using ASP.NET Core and C# with SOA-based design patterns.
Apply SOLID principles and microservices architecture concepts to deliver maintainable, scalable services.
Debug and troubleshoot services using Visual Studio and strong problem-isolation techniques.
Build automated unit tests using MSTest or xUnit.NET and contribute to high test coverage standards.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or Atlassian (Bitbucket/Bamboo).
Deploy services to cloud platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) using strategies like blue-green or canary releases.
Monitor and support service health (availability, performance, reliability) using Splunk or similar observability tooling.
Practice TDD and contribute to API test automation using frameworks such as Reqnroll or SpecFlow.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience).
years of experience building backend services and APIs in C#/.NET.
Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core for REST API development.
Strong understanding of SOLID principles and service-oriented or microservices-based design.
Experience writing unit tests with MSTest or xUnit.NET.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and/or Bitbucket/Bamboo).
Experience deploying to PCF and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with containerization fundamentals (e.g., Docker concepts) and modern deployment patterns.
Working knowledge of TDD and BDD-style automation (Reqnroll/SpecFlow) for API validation.
Experience with monitoring/observability practices using Splunk (dashboards, alerts, troubleshooting).
Familiarity with release strategies (blue-green, canary, big-bang) and operational readiness practices.
