Job Title: IT Support Specialist 3

Location: Metro Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist 3 to provide technical support for end users and maintain desktop systems, business applications, and IT infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, Windows systems, networking, and cloud-related technologies while ensuring timely resolution of support requests through ServiceNow. The ideal candidate should have strong desktop support experience, excellent customer service skills, and experience with enterprise IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows 10/11, and network issues.
  • Manage and resolve ServiceNow support tickets.
  • Support desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Troubleshoot TCP/IP connectivity issues.
  • Support cloud environments using AWS CLI and Terraform.
  • Assist with video conferencing, A/V equipment, and mobile devices.
  • Respond to production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team and recommend technical improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree with 3+ years of experience, Associate''s degree with 5+ years, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–3+ years of IT/Desktop Support experience.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Experience troubleshooting TCP/IP networking issues.
  • Experience with AWS CLI and Terraform.
  • Professional certification such as A+, Network+, Cloud+, or equivalent (required).
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer support skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of automation and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Experience with video conferencing and A/V systems.
  • Experience with production support and incident management.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and learn new technologies quickly.
