Summary

Cybersecurity Developer
3 days a week onsite

As a developer you would be joining our growing Cryptography and Secrets Management squad as part of the strategy to offer more services and a better user experience to our clients in the cybersecurity space. The current squad is a "build-and-run" squad and is spread across North America, Europe, and India. We are adding more engineers and require a fungible developer to help us create the same culture of ownership and independence which exists in our current squad. You will be working to design and implement new features, tooling, and automations to support cybersecurity controls and improve resiliency and reliability.

What will you be doing?
As a fungible squad member, you will work on a variety of tasks, ranging from:
developing integrations for Enterprise HSM and Key Management Solutions,
implementing tooling or AI agents for operational enablement and cybersecurity analysis and remediation,
service delivery and DevSecOps tasks including CICD,
developing testing frameworks and suites,
troubleshooting issues and participating in on-call rotation.
Working with the squad & wider Technology stakeholders, you will support the continuous improvement of services through remediations against security findings, development, automation, and effective observability solutions.
Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
Working with Technology teams, you will develop new integrations and onboard new tools to support business needs and integrate with the client's ecosystem.
Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and various Agile ceremonies to help produce the best product possible.
You will deliver knowledge sharing and participate in cross-pollination of good practices and standards across the squad & Data Protection Services department, providing documentation and presentations.

What we are looking for:
4+ years of development experience with Python in enterprise or industrial contexts.
Strong knowledge of Python libraries such as requests, json, logging, argparse, subprocess, pandas, pytest.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Bash/Shell scripting.
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
Experience working with Linux environments.
Experience with Git version control and CI/CD platforms (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins...).
Understanding vulnerability management, remediation workflows, and secure software development practices.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach.

Skills that will help you in the role:
Experience with enterprise Hardware Security Modules, preferably Thales Luna HSM and Luna client.
Familiarity with PKCS#11 or enterprise cryptographic services.
Experience with enterprise Key Management Solutions, preferably Thales CipherTrust Manager.
Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
Experience in modern observability and monitoring technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry...
Experience with reliability best practices, such as SLOs, incident response, observability engineering...
Experience with cybersecurity practices, such as encryption at rest and in transit, secret management, CVE remediation, authentication/authorization, and PKI
