Job Description
We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile and Scrum delivery, facilitation, and team coaching and a proven ability to remove impediments, mature teams, and drive high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a change agent to support teams in adopting agile behaviors and practices.
- Facilitate Scrum events and processes using data-driven metrics to enable team maturity and effectiveness.
- Foster an agile mindset grounded in transparency, inspection, and adaptation to deliver high-value increments meeting the Definition of Done.
- Enable teams to develop sprint goals, maintain robust product backlogs, and define acceptance criteria and Definitions of Done/Ready.
- Facilitate program-level ceremonies including dependency mapping, release planning, and scope alignment across product teams.
- Remove impediments to the Scrum team's progress.
- Promote effective communication and partnership with stakeholders inside and outside the team.
- Protect the team from distractions to meet sprint and program commitments.
- Coach for self-organization and cross-functionality to enable high team performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years working in an agile environment as a development team member, Scrum Master, or Product Owner.
- 5+ years serving as a Scrum Master.
- Expert facilitation, problem solving, and influencing skills.
- Expert knowledge of value-driven development practices, including requirements management, prototyping, hypothesis-driven development, and usability testing.
- Expertise with agile tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence, MS Teams, Monday.com, or similar tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience as a Project Manager in a waterfall environment.
- Familiarity with both agile and waterfall delivery approaches.
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale enterprise agile transformations and work as a Scrum Master in a scaled environment.
