Six Star Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing independent repair shop in Sandpoint, Idaho. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic and import vehicle systems.
- Perform maintenance and repair services efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and clearly communicate repair findings.
- Work closely with Service Advisors and team members to deliver quality repairs.
- Follow established shop processes, safety standards, and quality expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
- Contribute ideas that improve shop operations and customer service.
Qualifications
- Professional automotive repair experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience.
- Ability to diagnose vehicle concerns and complete repairs independently.
- Strong diagnostic experience preferred.
- Drivability and electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
- ASE Certifications preferred.
- Experience working in an independent repair shop or dealership preferred.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to producing quality work.
Compensation & Benefits
Flat-Rate Pay: $25?$48 per flagged hour based on experience, certifications, and production.
Estimated Earning Potential: Top technicians earn $90,000?$120,000+ annually. Actual earnings vary based on production and are not guaranteed.
