As an Information Technology Application Specialist at Lutron, you will participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality solutions within IT to support various areas of operation throughout the business.

There are a variety of technologies and concepts within this role that you could encounter from day one, such as:
  • Software as a service platforms
  • Software development methodologies such as Agile
  • Understanding best practices and QA for SaaS
  • Platform integrations using APIs, webservices, and enterprise integration tools
  • An understanding of authorization and authentication controls

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Technology Lead on the various platforms to drive convergence and execute implementation
  • Manage and prioritize all phases of multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality
  • Develop and improve your skills in multiple IT disciplines
  • Devise and implement new IT processes for continuous improvement
  • Deliver IT solutions with a hands-on attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Collaborate with team members using strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, Web Science or Mathematics
  • Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
  • 0-3 years experience in a related field
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
