Description
We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support for end users in Wilton, Connecticut. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving day-to-day desktop and system issues while delivering responsive service in a detail-oriented investment management environment. The role focuses on supporting Microsoft Windows-based devices, assisting with user access, and ensuring service requests are handled efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
Deliver front-line technical assistance for desktop, laptop, and Windows-related issues affecting end users
Investigate and resolve routine hardware, software, and connectivity problems through structured troubleshooting
Manage incoming service desk requests, document actions taken, and maintain accurate ticket updates through resolution
Support user account administration tasks within Active Directory, including access changes and basic account maintenance
Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows 10 systems to meet operational needs
Escalate more complex incidents when necessary and coordinate with other support resources to ensure timely resolution
Provide clear guidance to users on technical issues, system usage, and best practices for everyday support needs
Requirements
Experience providing help desk or desktop support in a business environment
Working knowledge of Active Directory for basic user and access administration
Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Windows 10 environments
Ability to perform foundational troubleshooting for hardware, software, and end-user issues
Familiarity with service desk ticketing processes and maintaining accurate support documentation
Strong communication skills with the ability to assist users clearly and effectively
Ability to manage multiple support requests while maintaining attention to detail and service quality
