Leidos is seeking a
Network Engineer to ensure the reliability and security of mission-critical systems and networks. In this role, you'll maintain infrastructure, troubleshoot outages, and support security authorizations while working in a collaborative, high-impact environment at our customer site in Suitland, MD.
Primary Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve network outages while providing prompt event notifications to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform any physical patching and software (CISCO IOS) patching as required.
- Review Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts/Bulletins (IAVA/B) related to CISCO products and develop and implement remediation plans.
- Perform any required re-accreditation actions such as DISA STIG review, IOS upgrades, vulnerability scan remediation, and document various required lists (PPSM, H/W, and S/W) during the network's accreditation cycle.
Required Qualifications:- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with 2+ years of experience OR Equivalent experience, training, or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570 Baseline (e.g., Security+ CE) or the ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Active CCNA certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Proficiency with Cisco configurations (EIGRP, BGP, SNMP, TCP/IP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, NAT, GRE, IPSEC).
- Experience with packet capture, traffic analysis, and vulnerability remediation.
- Strong understanding of the OSI model and multi-protocol routing (VRF, VPN, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, VPLS).

Pay Range:Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
