Job Title: Senior Project Manager / Program Lead

Location: Triangle area, Ability to travel within North Carolina and occasionally nationwide (approximately once per month)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex initiatives focused on supporting rural providers. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, procurement management, vendor oversight, and policy analysis experience. The selected candidate will drive onboarding efforts, manage vendor and technical support teams and other stakeholders to establish KPIs and continuous quality improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and business objectives
• Provide leadership in stakeholder engagement, including coordination and external partners
• Oversee procurement processes and manage vendor relationships, including performance monitoring
• Drive onboarding initiatives for eligible rural providers
• Establish and track KPIs, and implement continuous quality improvement processes
• Provide strategic and technical guidance across development platforms, architectures, and business applications
• Support activities including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support
• Ensure proper documentation, system maintenance, and ongoing enhancements

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven ability to work independently and lead complex project efforts
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Extensive experience in project/program management, stakeholder communication, and vendor oversight
• Solid understanding of application development and system architecture
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and performance metrics (KPIs)
• Advanced education and/or deep industry experience

• Preference for candidates based in or near the Research Triangle area
