Location: Remote (With extensive travel twice a month to [Columbus, Ohio])
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Planning Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite Supply Chain Planning modules. In this role, you will primarily drive Oracle EBS Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) implementations, enhancements, support, and rollout projects.
As a critical bridge between business objectives and technical execution, you will be responsible for conducting client workshops, gathering business requirements, designing solutions, managing configuration, and overseeing testing and post-production support. This position requires close coordination with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional SCM teams to deliver scalable, high-performing planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Module Ownership: Act as the lead Functional Consultant for Oracle EBS Planning modules, including ASCP, Demantra/Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Global Order Promising (GOP).
Core Configurations: Set up and manage complex planning configurations, including planning methods, forecasting, data collections, sourcing rules, ATP rules, safety stock planning, supply/demand planning, and assignment sets.
Lifecycle Delivery: Lead client discussions, Conference Room Pilots (CRP), process workshops, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities.

Cross-Module Sync: Support planning data collections and seamless integration between ASCP and core Oracle EBS modules (OM, INV, BOM, WIP, PO, and manufacturing modules).
Technical Liaison: Partner with technical teams to design and deploy custom reports, interfaces, data conversions, integrations, and extensions.
Documentation: Author high-quality functional documentation, including BR100 (Setup), MD50 (Functional Design), Test Scripts, and User Training Documents.

Issue Resolution: Drive defect resolution, root-cause analysis, and provide robust post-production support for planning-related issues.
Team Alignment: Coordinate closely with offshore/onshore teams to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
Experience:
8+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on Oracle EBS SCM functional consulting.
4+ years of hands-on experience specifically within Oracle EBS ASCP / Planning modules.
Proven track record of at least 2 full-lifecycle ASCP implementations OR multiple major support/rollout/enhancement projects.
Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes (Demand/Supply Planning, Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, Distribution, and Manufacturing Planning) within Oracle EBS R12 / R12.2 environments.
Consulting Skills: Proven ability in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Modules: Hands-on experience with Demantra or Oracle Demand Planning.
Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of planning data collections, integration architecture, Oracle SCM interfaces, APIs, and data migration.
Reporting: Experience with custom reports, XML Publisher, Discoverer, or BI reports; proficiency in SQL is highly valued.
Cloud Exposure: Exposure to Oracle Fusion Planning Cloud is a major plus.
Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional, and offshore teams.
