Job Summary

PETADATA is seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 13+ years of experience in SQL/PLSQL development, performance tuning, and database optimization to build and support scalable, high-performance Oracle database solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and cursors
   

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions
   

• Optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for performance, scalability, and reliability
   

• Develop and maintain database objects, indexes, and views
   

• Perform query tuning and performance optimization using execution plans and indexing strategies
   

• Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams
   

• Support data migration, data validation, and database deployment activities
   

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to database performance and data integrity
   

• Ensure database code follows best practices, standards, and security guidelines
   

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
   

Required Skills:

• 13+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
   

• Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming
   

• Experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases
   

• Strong knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing
   

• Experience with data modeling and database design concepts
   

• Hands-on experience with packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and cursors
   

• Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and large data volumes
   

• Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting
   

• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments
   

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
