Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Java Developer with strong experience in building scalable n-tier and microservices-based applications using Java/J2EE technologies. The ideal candidate will have solid backend expertise, cloud exposure, and experience working in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain n-tier applications using Java/J2EE and RESTful Services
Build and enhance Microservices architecture
Participate in release management, environment configuration, and code integrity processes
Analyze business requirements and user stories in Agile/Scrum framework
Lead discovery phase and create high-level technical designs
Lead small teams (3 5 engineers) and mentor junior developers
Troubleshoot production and business issues
Ensure alignment with business vision and industry best practices
Optimize and test code for performance and scalability
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development
Strong experience with REST APIs & Microservices
Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Apache CXF
Experience with NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB or Cassandra)
Experience with Search technologies (Solr / Elasticsearch)
Experience with Kafka or distributed publish-subscribe messaging systems
Experience deploying applications on Apache Tomcat / TomEE
SaaS application development experience
UNIX shell scripting experience
Experience with Cloud-based development environments
