COT-Mobile County Community Development Specialist VISTA
The Community Development Specialist will focus on financial empowerment and poverty reduction, with a focus on playing a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing programs aimed at improving economic opportunities, access to resources, and overall well-being within the community. The VISTA will work closely with community members, local organizations, and stakeholders. The VISTA will contribute to the development and execution of strategies that address the root causes of poverty and promote sustainable solutions that are culturally appropriate for the Hispanic community.
Member Duties : Gain a comprehensive understanding of the AmeriCorps VISTA and the Communities of Transformation model, well enough to teach others how it works. Serve as a key player in the planning, development, generation, and implementation of COT Model in Mobile County. Establish strong relationships with partner organizations and families by understanding constituent needs, the consumer experience, and organizational capabilities. Identify and implement benchmarks for strategies as aligned with the organization's short-term goals. Collaborate with the entire team to process, evaluate, and effectively launch program
