Genesis10 is currently seeking a C Developer for a contract position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager located in Eagan, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. Compensation: $64.00 - $66.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications Position Overview: This role will support an existing real-time healthcare eligibility-processing application. The ideal candidate will enhance current functionality to accommodate additional eligibility groups and adjudication-related features, working within an AWS Linux and Oracle environment. This is a time-sensitive project requiring a candidate who can become productive quickly within an established C application codebase.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and modify C code supporting real-time eligibility processing
- Enhance existing functionality to support additional eligibility groups and features
- Implement application changes related to healthcare adjudication
- Analyze and work within an established application codebase
- Develop and support the application within an AWS Linux environment
- Work with Oracle-based application and data components
- Use GitHub for source control and code collaboration
- Collaborate with software developers, systems developers and analysts
- Support changes through the team's established development and release process
- Contribute to the delivery of time-sensitive project requirements
Primary Requirements: - Demonstrated hands-on C programming experience
- Experience developing or supporting applications in a Linux environment
- Experience working with applications hosted in AWS
- Experience with Oracle
- Experience using GitHub or a comparable source-control platform
- Experience understanding and modifying an existing production application
- Ability to troubleshoot complex application-processing logic
- Ability to ramp up quickly and contribute within an accelerated project timeline
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Desired Skills: - Experience with healthcare eligibility, claims or adjudication applications
- Experience supporting real-time transaction-processing systems
- Experience working within a sprint-based development model and structured release cycle
- Experience enhancing mature or legacy C applications
