Job Title: Senior Data Warehouse Architect
Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data warehouse and cloud analytics solutions supporting critical business and government programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS cloud data platforms, data lake/lakehouse architecture, ETL/ELT frameworks, data governance, and enterprise reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise Data Warehouse architectures.
- Lead Data Lake/Lakehouse initiatives using AWS services.
- Architect scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and related technologies.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Design data integration solutions across multiple source systems.
- Establish data governance, metadata management, lineage, and quality frameworks.
- Implement real-time and batch processing architectures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and executive leadership.
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across the data ecosystem.
- Lead architecture reviews and mentor engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of Data Warehouse/Data Architecture experience.
- 5+ years of AWS Data Platform experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- AWS Glue
- S3
- Redshift
- Lambda
- Step Functions
- DynamoDB
- Aurora/PostgreSQL
- Strong Data Modeling experience.
- Experience with Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks.
- SQL and Python expertise.
- Experience leading enterprise data initiatives.
