Overview

AI Transformation Office (AITO) is focused on taking Microsoft's own AI transformation narrative to Enterprise customers to help accelerate their transformation journeys and drive meaningful pipeline impact. AITO leads the adoption of Microsoft's AI technologies and solutions across the commercial organization. A core part of this work includes establishing a strong feedback loop, continuing to build and champion our Customer Zero storytelling, and partnering closely with the Global Skilling team to ensure these insights are translated into scalable enablement across the field.

As a Sr. Data Analytics Manager in the AI Transformation Organization you will partner closely with managers and executive leaders to analyze complex business questions, deliver insights, and inform critical decisions. You will shape analyses end to end, synthesizing data, developing clear recommendations, and helping leaders determine next steps that drive organizational outcomes. Responsibilities

  • You will serve as the primary business stakeholder to adjacent Data Science & Business Insights teams within Engineering, Enablement & Operations (EE&O) for all owned analytics and data requirements.

  • You will develop applicable KPIs and establish the business requirements for performance telemetry of AITO priorities, including AI Accleration and Customer Engagements.

  • You'll provide oversight of a prioritized backlog for quantitative intelligence and analytics needs for the business.

  • You will steward continuous improvement and maintenance to all data modeling and insights.

  • As you apply in-depth knowledge of the business you will proactively anticipate business questions and develop data frames and analytical solutions. You'll apply a customer-oriented focus and build trust with customers and/or stakeholders by leveraging knowledge of Microsoft products.

  • You will apply expertise to data sources and determine optimal methods for integrating data. You'll apply expertise to address business questions and guide teammates on solutions.

  • You will share insights and analytical expertise to tell stories of analysis through dashboards, reports, internal forums, and more. You'll partner cross-functionally to advise on experimental design and determine and recommend innovative methods for sharing insights.

  • You'll leverage working relationships across teams to ensure alignment and drive the adoption of recommended data sources and analysis practices. You'll maintain expertise in privacy requirements and identify and address impact of updated guidance on work activities and results.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualificaitons
  • Experience building and deploying Power BI dashboards.
  • Experience leading analytics on AI adoption/usage and it's impact on business outcomes.
  • Experience utilizing AI to accelerate analytics work and/or improve user experience in consuming insights.

Data Analytics IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
