Genesis10 is currently seeking a C++ Developer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer to work on a front office Repo trading system. The role's responsibilities include development, testing, and L3 support for this critical platform.
Responsibilities: - Develop and test features for a front office trading system
- Provide L3 support for the platform
- Collaborate with front-office users and traders to resolve issues and enhance functionality
Requirements: - Minimum 7 years of recent hands-on Software Development experience in C++
- Experience working in fixed income transaction processing with good knowledge of fixed income products
- Good understanding of OOP fundamentals, Data structures, Design patterns, and STL templates
- Knowledge and experience with message-based systems (Tibco RV/IBM MQ/Zero MQ)
- Strong SQL and related database skills including indexing and transaction management (Sybase/Oracle/MS SQL)
- Working knowledge of software configuration management systems like JIRA, SVN, Git, or Cruise Control
- Hands-on experience in scripting languages like Python or Perl
- Experience with Windows environment
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills
Desired skills: - Prior Repo/Sec Lending/Collateral management experience
- FIS/Sungard Martini/APEX and/or other Repo trading platform experience
- Experience working with front-office users/traders
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
