Title: SAP S4 FICO Solution Architect
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Candidates within 2-3 hours of Charlotte, NC or Corning, NY preferred. Open to Remote candidates in all US locations (EST preferred), candidates must be willing to support EST time zone
One-year anticipated assignment. Possibility of extension based on demand.
Schedule: Full-time, M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM some flexibility may be required due to working with global teams.

Position Overview
Client IT is seeking an exceptional professional with strong expertise in FICO to lead enterprise-level solution design and support ERP transformation initiatives. This role bridges business and IT, defining scalable, compliant, and future-ready SAP solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and long-term strategy. The Solution Architect will translate business requirements into practical IT service architectures that meet business partner needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners
• Participate in and lead project design sessions to develop end-to-end solutions for complex business problems.
• Challenge status-quo and think outside the box to devise innovative solutions
• Provide architectural guidance across project lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy)
• Translate business requirements into end-to-end SAP solution designs
• Define and maintain ERP solution roadmaps and architecture standards
• Support ERP transformation and large-scale SAP implementation programs
• Drive standardization, reusable patterns, and best practices
• Troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve problems
• Handle changes or emergency transport as needed for high priority issues
Required Skills
** • 10+ years of SAP / ERP experience, including large-scale S/4HANA implementations (at least 3 end-to-end implementations)**
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FICO and core finance processes
• Solid understanding of S/4HANA architecture and FI/CO integration
• Experience with SAP integrations across modules and external systems
• Proven ability in solution design, blueprinting, and architecture governance
** • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills **
• Experience supporting manufacturing industry
• Using AI for design
• Interact with Business Users
• Create architectural design for SAP Systems
• Looking for someone with Manufacturing industry background
• Need experience in Controlling side of FICO and Product Costing
• Global teams interaction and Experience with Global SAP FICO Projects, understand other country Finance process, banking, taxes process which are different from country to country

Preferred Qualifications
• SAP certifications (FICO / S/4HANA)
• Experience in ECC to S/4HANA transformation programs
• Exposure to SAP BTP, Analytics, or cloud-based solutions
• Experience using AI resources to assist in solution design
• Bachelor’s degree preferred – Associates will also work

** • Product Costing & Material Ledger: standard costing, actual costing, multi-level cost rollup, and variance analysis
** • Investment Management (IM): CapEx planning, budgeting, AR, integration with CO and FI-AA
• SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture with Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and real-time FI/CO integration
• FI core processes: AP, AR, Business Partner, payments (APP), credit management, dunning, and cash application
• S/4HANA Asset Accounting including AuC, capitalization, depreciation, and asset lifecycle management
• Controlling (CO): Cost Center, Profit Center (real-time PCA), Internal Orders, allocations, WIP, and settlements
• Period-end close & compliance: parallel ledgers, document splitting, financial reporting, tax integration
• Cross-module integration with MM, SD, PP, PS, and external systems
Interview Process: Two Rounds - First Round Video Interview with Team Lead, Second Round Video Panel Interview (including technical team)
