Director / Associate Director – Human Resources

We are seeking an experienced Director / Associate Director – Human Resources to join our team in San Jose, CA. This role is ideal for a dynamic HR leader who brings a strong combination of HR Business Partner (HRBP) expertise and Talent Acquisition experience. The selected candidate will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives while driving talent initiatives, workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational growth.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to partner closely with senior business leaders and act as a strategic advisor on all people-related matters. This individual will be responsible for supporting business functions through effective HRBP practices, including employee relations, performance management, succession planning, change management, and organizational development. A strong understanding of business operations and the ability to translate organizational goals into effective HR strategies will be essential for success in this role.

In addition to HRBP responsibilities, the candidate should have solid experience in Talent Acquisition and recruitment leadership. They will be expected to work closely with hiring managers and leadership teams to identify staffing needs, build hiring plans, and ensure successful end-to-end recruitment delivery. Experience in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred.

The successful candidate should possess excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with a proven track record of driving HR initiatives in a growth-oriented environment. Prior experience in the IT, Technology, or Services industry will be a strong advantage. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
