Location:            Houston, Texas

Job Description:

·       On-site Bi-Lingual (English / Japanese)

·       IT Operation Manager who needs to communicate with their IT staff in US and Japan and manage their IT operation who could be a backup of their IT expatriate''s manager from Japan.

IT Skills

·       Basic proficiency in M365 (including Office applications), networking (LAN/WAN/remote access), and hardware devices (PCs, multifunction printers, etc.)

·       Understanding of corporate systems (accounting, HR, etc.) and major cloud services

·       Ability to strictly adhere to IT security policies and ensure compliance

·       Capability to handle initial responses to incidents (performing basic troubleshooting to isolate issues with infrastructure, applications, etc.) and execute appropriate escalation procedures (experience in IT management/operations is a plus)

Business / Person Skills

·       Act as a liaison between the headquarters IT department and local users (understanding headquarters policies and driving their local implementation and adoption)

·       Proactively manage the local IT environment (especially the office environment) to ensure stable operations (accurately managing IT assets, contracts, and configuration data)

·       Effectively manage local vendors to ensure service quality

·       Understand linguistic and cultural differences and facilitate smooth communication

·       Take initiative rather than waiting for instructions; identify local issues from the user''s perspective, lead the resolution process, and propose improvements.
