Software Developer 2

Position Overview

We are seeking a Software Developer 2 to provide development, enhancement, and optimization services for the IBM TRIRIGA/Maximo CAFM application. The role focuses on application configuration, performance optimization, system upgrades, report development, and business process alignment within a facilities and real estate management environment.

All deliverables are considered works made for hire and are the property of HHSC.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, implement, and manage enhancements to IBM TRIRIGA/Maximo CAFM applications.
• Develop, redefine, and optimize dimensions, rules, workflows, and processes to align with evolving agency requirements.
• Streamline system processes to align with the TRIRIGA data model and improve performance.
• Plan and execute IBM TRIRIGA upgrades, including environment preparation and content migration with minimal business disruption.
• Modify existing TRIRIGA components to enhance agency processes and improve system efficiency.
• Develop, modify, and support BIRT report writing and reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with developers, UX designers, business analysts, and systems analysts.
• Test and evaluate new programs and system modifications.
• Support performance tuning and system maintenance activities.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Facilities Manager.
• 5+ years of experience contracting on IBM TRIRIGA/Maximo products (minimum one contract engagement).
• 4+ years of experience with IBM TRIRIGA Projects Version 10.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Workplace Reservation Manager.
• 3+ years of experience as a Real Estate Manager.
