Project Manager

Type: 12+ Month Contract (W2 Only; No C2C)

The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a skilled Project Manager for a long-term engagement with our premier client in Buffalo. This role is designed for a leader who excels at navigating high-priority, multi-unit initiatives and thrives in complex technical environments. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, ensuring every milestone aligns with broader business goals and stakeholder needs.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Direct complex projects from inception to completion, keeping scope and objectives at the forefront.

• Team Coordination: Define clear roles, delegate tasks, and maintain high levels of team synergy across functional groups.

• Project Planning: Create detailed roadmaps, including work breakdown structures, budgets, schedules, and comprehensive risk/communication strategies.

• Facilitation: Lead discovery sessions and workshops to capture granular requirements, constraints, and project assumptions.

• Execution & Control: Monitor performance metrics, manage change requests, and implement corrective measures to keep projects on track and within budget.

• Communication: Act as the primary bridge between the project team and stakeholders, providing transparent updates and managing expectations.

Technical & Professional Requirements

• Technical Literacy: Must have a strong grasp of Infrastructure and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to effectively manage technical workstreams.

• Stakeholder Navigation: Proven ability to influence and drive consensus among diverse cross-functional teams and business units.

• Risk & Change Management: Expert-level experience in identifying dependencies, mitigating risks, and controlling scope creep.

• Experience: A Bachelor s degree paired with at least 4 years of dedicated project management experience.

• Tools: High proficiency in modern project management software and productivity suites.
