Role Summary:
Seeking a Business Analyst with strong clinical and inpatient EHR experience to support and optimize hospital inpatient workflows. The role involves close collaboration with nursing, physicians, ancillary teams, and IT to improve clinical operations and EHR utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize inpatient workflows: ADT, clinical documentation, MAR, orders, care plans, and rounding
• Gather requirements from clinical users (RN, MD, NP/PA, ancillary staff)
• Translate clinical needs into functional EHR specifications
• Support configuration and optimization of inpatient EHR modules (Clinical Docs, MAR, CPOE, Order Sets, CDS, Flowsheets, Care Plans)
• Participate in upgrades, testing, integrations (Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy), and go-live support
• Create functional specs, workflow diagrams, test scripts, and training materials
• Provide Tier-2 inpatient EHR support and clinical training
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, medication safety, and documentation standards

Required Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in Nursing, Allied Health, Health Informatics, or related field (Master s preferred)
• 5 8 years of experience in inpatient clinical operations or EHR/clinical informatics roles
• Strong knowledge of inpatient hospital workflows
• Hands-on experience with inpatient EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts Sunrise, Paragon, etc.)

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
