Enterprise Architect - Generative AI and LLM

Own the enterprise architecture vision for the AI-Powered Banker workstream, grounded in practical software engineering principles

Establish and enforce architecture governance, design standards, and guardrails appropriate for a regulated Financial Institution

Review solution designs and ensure alignment with target-state and transition architectures

Act as a technical authority who can challenge designs based on engineering feasibility, scalability, and operability

Lead architecture for data-intensive, AI-enabled platforms, including:

Guide teams on building, scaling, and operating LLM-based applications, including:

Define evaluation engineering approaches for AI systems, including accuracy, hallucination management, explainability, and monitoring

Develop and maintain multi-year architecture roadmaps aligned to Reimagine the Bank outcomes

Translate engineering realities into pragmatic migration strategies from legacy platforms to AI-enabled architectures

Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Platform teams to align architecture with delivery execution

Embed Responsible AI principles into architecture, including:

Partner with Risk, Compliance, Security, and Model Governance teams to ensure AI solutions meet enterprise and regulatory expectations without slowing innovation

12 18+ years of experience with a strong foundation in software engineering, progressing into solution and enterprise architecture

Proven experience designing and scaling enterprise-grade software platforms in a Financial Institution or highly regulated environment

Strong hands-on background with:

Demonstrated experience leading ML and AI initiatives, including Generative AI and LLM-based applications

Experience establishing and operating architecture governance in regulated environments

Ability to communicate deeply technical concepts to engineering, business, and risk stakeholders
