  • Proven experience building, leading, and managing high performing project teams
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies - act as a highly regarded leader, thought partner and a source of counsel and advice
  • Expert level understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications
  • Mentoring and professional development of other personnel
  • Able to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and schedule requirements
  • Participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought
  • Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving problems and potential risks
  • Thorough understanding of engineering concepts and ability to communicate ideas to others
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills to effectively work and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external customers
  • Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Pipeline, Mechanical, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering & Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Minimum of 25 years of pipeline design, project delivery, management, and leadership experience.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) is an asset.
  • Experience in Project Management in an EPCM environment leading multi-disciplinary teams through design, construction, commissioning and closeout.
