Lead SDET / QA Automation Architect / Principal QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Engineer who will be responsible for design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale test automation frameworks and quality engineering solutions. This role will be responsible for defining QA test architecture, driving automation strategy, supporting Order Management System (OMS) testing initiatives, and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with Product, Development, DevOps, and Business teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable QA test architecture and automation frameworks.
• Lead automation initiatives across UI, API, database, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Drive quality assurance efforts for Order Management System (OMS) applications and business workflows.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using modern automation tools and frameworks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster releases.
• Define testing strategies, automation standards, and quality engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Architecture, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyse test results, identify defects, conduct root cause analysis, and drive issue resolution.
• Mentor QA Engineers and promote automation and quality engineering best practices.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and release quality.

What You Know:

• Strong experience in QA Test Architecture and Automation Framework Development.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
• Experience testing Order Management Systems (OMS) and enterprise business applications.
• Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
• Experience integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation development.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience with database testing and SQL.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications.

Experience in Retail, E-commerce, or Order Management Systems (OMS).

• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or other automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Experience with API automation and microservices testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Continuous Testing practices.
• Experience mentoring QA engineers and leading automation initiatives.

Education:
bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
