Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and high-performing enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks security solutions, Cisco Meraki switching environments, network operations, and security monitoring platforms.

This role will play a critical part in ensuring enterprise network resiliency, security, visibility, and compliance across distributed environments.

Key Responsibilities

<>Network Architecture & Operations

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure

• Manage Layer 3 routing and security using Palo Alto firewalls

• Manage Layer 2 switching and access networks using Cisco Meraki

• Ensure network scalability, performance, and high availability

• Configure and support routing protocols, VLANs, NAT, VPNs, and traffic engineering

• Troubleshoot complex LAN, WAN, cloud, and hybrid network issues

<>Firewall & Security Management

• Configure and administer Palo Alto Networks firewalls

• Implement security policies, threat prevention, and application/user-based controls

• Manage Panorama centralized management platform for:

  • Policy standardization

  • Configuration consistency

  • Device lifecycle management

• Implement network segmentation and Zero Trust security controls

<>Monitoring, Logging & Analytics

• Manage and analyze network and security logs using:

  • Cortex Data Lake (CDL)

  • Sumo Logic

• Develop dashboards, alerts, monitoring, and reporting solutions

• Support incident response and proactive threat detection

• Monitor network performance and security posture

<>Cloud & Network Integration

• Support cloud and hybrid connectivity architectures

• Manage VPNs, secure tunnels, and cloud integrations

• Collaborate with Identity and Security teams on Zero Trust initiatives

<>Automation & Optimization

• Automate network provisioning and operational processes

• Utilize scripting and APIs where applicable

• Improve operational efficiency and infrastructure reliability

<>Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship

• Act as escalation point for network and security incidents

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and DevOps teams

<>Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain network diagrams and technical documentation

• Develop SOPs, runbooks, and operational procedures

• Support audit and compliance initiatives

Required Skills

• 7–10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Palo Alto Networks Firewalls

  • Cisco Meraki Switching

  • Panorama Management

  • Cortex Data Lake (CDL)

  • Sumo Logic

• Deep understanding of:

  • TCP/IP

  • OSPF

  • BGP

  • VLANs

  • NAT

  • IPSec VPN

  • SSL VPN

• Experience implementing network segmentation and security best practices

Preferred Skills

• Zero Trust architecture experience

• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform networking experience

• Scripting/Automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash

• SD-WAN or SASE experience

• Security Operations exposure
