We have been retained by our client in far north Dallas, Texas, a leader in automation, to deliver an Electrical Engineer (Mid-Senior) on a regular full-time, direct-hire basis. Work onsite Dallas location. Take on the responsibility and the vision of entire electrical engineering domain, the underlying electrical standards, as well as the planning and the execution strategies of complex electrical projects. Use methodologies to help create innovative ways, innovative solutions, from start to finish of electrical projects. Use your electrical analysis skills as you elicit electrical requirements from project stakeholders/client/customers, analyze and define the scope of the project, timelines, human resources, equipment, and finally budget and project completion date estimate. Bring engineers together to foster project success and professional development. Run regular meetings, assess project s progress, ensure any bottlenecks, slow-downs , or problems with equipment or labor are assessed, and reduced to ensure delivery date of project completion can be met. Act as liaison between your electrical engineering team and project stakeholders/client/customers, keeping them in step with updates on work progress, or answer any questions. Always identify or look for ways to use electrical project methodologies to improve the process, the procedures, to increase productivity and efficiencies.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering. Prefer mechanical engineering ME degree. EE helps also.
4-5+ years experience in engineering projects in electrical domain.
Manufacturing experience is a plus. Mastery of Microsoft Office. Microsoft Project.
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical. Excellent organization, strict attention to details. Ability to make project plans, make decisions to improve the timeline, and instill urgency upon the bottlenecks in the project progress, and reduce bottlenecks in timeline. Read equipment wiring schematics and create input/output lists from schematics. Use UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC, and IEC codes and standards. Must be able to bend knees to troubleshoot equipment on floor, with diagnostic equipment, volt, amp, meters, hand tools for troubleshooting. 10% travel.
Desired Experience:
AutoCAD Electrical design and electrical project leadership, project planning, mentoring. Keen knowledge of electrical engineering design software, electrical engineering analysis, and electrical industry standards, i.e., UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC, and IEC codes and standards. Knowledge of best safety practices for handling various voltages/currents. Experience in equipment or large-scale automation projects using Allen Bradley PLCs, Siemens PLCs, GE equipment etc., low voltage power, motor controllers, conveyors, computer vision, UPC image scans, pick,place,package,and,ship, product distribution centers, material handling equipment, warehouse automation, and robotics automation.

Salary Range: $90,000 to 112,000 per year USD
