Introduction

This position is for a Data Architect with experience in the financial/banking industry, specifically with skills in Python, DataBricks, SPARK, Power BI, Snowflake, Talend, and Informatica. The Data Architect will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining data architecture for our client in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data architecture solutions for financial/banking projects
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Utilize tools such as DataBricks, SPARK, Power BI, Snowflake, Talend, and Informatica to optimize data processing and analysis
• Create data models, data flow diagrams, and data governance policies
• Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and cleansing processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data architecture
• Provide technical guidance and support to the data engineering team

Requirements

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Data Architect in the financial/banking industry
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Hands-on experience with DataBricks, SPARK, Power BI, Snowflake, Talend, and Informatica
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work onsite in New York, NY
