Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Manhattan WMS Solution Architect (MAWM) to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale warehouse management solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) and strong experience integrating with SAP ERP systems.

Note: Candidates must have strong hands-on MAWM experience. Profiles without this will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Manhattan WMS Architecture & Solution Design (Primary Focus)

Act as the SME and Solution Owner for Manhattan Associates WMS (MAWM)
Design end-to-end WMS solutions covering:

Receiving, putaway, slotting
Picking, packing, waving
Shipping, labor management, and optimization

Define functional and technical architecture aligned with business needs
Lead multi-site WMS implementations, upgrades, and enhancements

Integration Design & Governance (SAP Integration)

Own design and governance of WMS integrations with SAP (ECC/S4HANA)
Manage integration flows for:

Inventory synchronization
Order processing (inbound/outbound)
ASN, BOL, shipment confirmations
Master data (material, batch, serial, handling units)

Guide integration using IDoc, API, EDI, MQ, and automation/MHE interfaces
Ensure real-time data exchange between WMS, SAP, TMS, and external systems

Technical Leadership

Define architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices for WMS
Provide hands-on guidance to functional and technical teams
Collaborate with SAP, automation, and infrastructure teams
Troubleshoot complex WMS and integration issues

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

Deep, hands-on expertise in Manhattan Active WMS (MAWM)
Strong experience in WMS architecture, configuration, and solution design
Proven experience integrating Manhattan WMS with SAP (ECC/S4HANA)
Strong understanding of warehouse & distribution operations
Experience leading multi-site WMS implementations
Ability to act as primary WMS SME in cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

Experience with TMS and warehouse automation systems (MHE)
Strong exposure to enterprise integration patterns
