The Role
This role is for a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer focused primarily on AWS cloud deployment and infrastructure support. The team is responsible for deploying applications across the organization, building shared utilities for enterprise tools, and maintaining cloud environments. Day-to-day work includes partnering with application teams on deployments, managing AWS accounts, creating reusable templates and pipelines, monitoring infrastructure for cost and performance, and troubleshooting issues across systems, networks, and applications. The position also includes participation in an on-call rotation.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, along with 3 5 years of software development experience using Python, Node.js, or Java with a focus on automation and the software development lifecycle. Preferred qualifications include 2 5 years of AWS cloud experience (including services like EKS), experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, and strong scripting skills in Python. Additional experience with Kubernetes, serverless technologies, Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and basic Linux and networking knowledge is beneficial. Familiarity with Azure, SRE principles, and strong problem-solving and communication skills are also valued.
Must Have:
- AWS- EKS
- Pipelining in Jenkins for CI/CD
- Scripting Ability in Python (for automation most of the teams' scripts are written in Python)
- Troubleshooting skills
