Summary

We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Product Owner to join the Salesforce IT team. This role bridges business strategy and platform execution, combining Salesforce product expertise with strong technical fluency in integrations, data architecture, and AI-augmented delivery. The ideal candidate excels in Agile environments and actively leverages Generative AI and Agentic AI tools to accelerate backlog creation, improve delivery quality, and drive measurable productivity gains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage Salesforce product backlog including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Translate business requirements into clear, prioritized, and technically sound delivery items
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and story readiness with business and technical teams
  • Apply Salesforce platform knowledge to guide scope, feasibility, and solution alignment
  • Define integration and data requirements across MuleSoft, SAP, and enterprise systems within user stories
  • Support data migration and validation planning, including reconciliation and cutover criteria
  • Use Generative AI and Agentic AI tools to accelerate story creation, documentation, and sprint artifacts
  • Integrate Salesforce AI capabilities (Einstein, Agentforce, GenAI flows) into product workflows
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and Definition of Done/Ready standards are met
  • Support SIT/UAT, defect triage, release readiness, and stakeholder coordination
  • Communicate roadmap progress, risks, and priorities to business and IT leadership
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and align distributed delivery teams (onshore/offshore)

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Technical PM in Salesforce environments
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform (configuration, customization, integrations, data modeling)
  • Proven experience writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for enterprise systems
  • Working knowledge of APIs, integration patterns, and data migration concepts
  • Hands-on experience using Generative AI / Agentic AI tools in delivery workflows
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with strong backlog ownership
  • Salesforce certifications: Administrator (required)
  • Preferred: Platform App Builder or Business Analyst certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in utilities, energy, or regulated industries with compliance exposure (e.g., NERC)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Einstein AI, Agentforce
  • Experience with Agentic AI tools (Windsurf, Devin, or similar)
  • Understanding of MuleSoft, SAP, Documentum, or enterprise content systems
  • Experience with legacy-to-Salesforce migrations (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Exposure to multi-vendor offshore/nearshore delivery models
