Senior Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the team of our exceptional client. This role requires someone who can independently lead complex projects from initial discovery through delivery, partnering closely with both business and technical stakeholders. You will support Custom Applications (no specific platform required), contribute to an Agile environment, and act as a key liaison between product teams and developers.

What will your day look like? As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will:

Analyze, understand, and translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and user stories for development and testing teams.
Lead requirements development through all stages from initial meetings with product teams and end users to story-mapping, vision alignment, feature definition, and final story writing.
Perform detailed systems requirements analysis and documentation.
Document system requirements in user story format for Agile delivery.
Serve as the primary point of contact between product teams and development teams.
Communicate technical feasibility, project plans, and required modifications back to business stakeholders, coordinating with the project team to define a clear course of action.
Create system workflow documentation and application reference materials as needed.
Develop strong relationships with product teams, cross-functional groups, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of systems and applications.
Assist with production support and technical troubleshooting as needed.

You will be a good fit for the Senior BSA role if you have:

Senior-level experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
Proven ability to independently run complex projects from start to finish.
Experience acting as a leader on Agile teams, with background as a BSA and familiarity with Scrum Master or project management responsibilities.
Experience working with custom-built applications.
Experience working on Agile development teams using tools such as Rally, Jira, or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Strong customer service skills and ability to build and maintain business relationships.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Solid project management skills.
A dedication to product quality and end-user experience.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience supporting reporting or dashboard teams (RAD team environment).
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in distributed or virtual environments.
