Role : SAP S/4HANA Techno-Functional Manager

Location: Bridgewater, NJ Hybrid - 3 days a week at client location, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

SAP S/4HANA Techno-Functional Manager SD / Inventory / 3PL / OTC / WM, Pharma/Life science experience is Preferred

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Techno-Functional Manager with strong expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), Inventory Management, Warehouse Management (WM), and Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes. With sound knowledge of working in an S/4 HANA Implementation environment.

The ideal candidate will have sound experience in 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) integration with SAP SD and Inventory, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions. The role will be responsible for solution design, integration, implementation, production support, stakeholder management, and leading technical and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Functional & Business Process Responsibilities

• Should have good knowledge of across SAP S/4HANA SD, Inventory Management, WM, and OTC processes.
• Possess strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including:
  • Sales order management
  • Delivery processing
  • Picking and packing
  • Goods issue
  • Billing and invoicing
  • Returns and credit processes
  • Pricing and customer-related processes
• Understand and support Inventory Management processes including goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, inventory adjustments, and stock reconciliation.
• Provide functional expertise around Warehouse Management (WM) processes and their integration with SD and Inventory.
• Collaborate and review the Business Requirement with Business and team
• Lead team of Functional and technical team on the Integration requirements
• Lead fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Ensure SAP solutions align with business objectives, standard SAP capabilities, and integration requirements.

3PL Integration Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP S/4HANA integration with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers.
• Strong understanding of integration between SAP SD, Inventory, WM, and external 3PL/Warehouse Management systems.
• Define and manage end-to-end integration processes for:
  • Sales orders
  • Deliveries
  • Shipment/warehouse instructions
  • Picking and packing confirmations
  • Goods movements
  • Inventory updates
  • Stock transfers
  • Goods issue confirmations
  • Returns
• Experience/ Sound knowledge of integration technologies and interfaces such as IDoc, EDI, APIs, web services, and middleware.
• Work closely with 3PL partners, business teams, SAP functional teams, and integration/development teams to resolve interface and process issues.
• Ensure accurate and timely synchronization of orders, inventory, delivery status, and warehouse transactions between SAP and 3PL systems.
• Lead troubleshooting of integration failures and establish appropriate monitoring and error-handling mechanisms.

Technical & Integration Leadership

• Provide techno-functional leadership for SAP S/4HANA enhancements, interfaces, integrations, and business process improvements.
• Collaborate with ABAP, integration, middleware, security, and other technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Review functional and technical specifications and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.
• Support interface design
