Required Skills & Experience - Proven experience architecting and operating production AWS environments, including multi-region deployments, resiliency planning, failover strategies, and disaster recovery considerations.
- Strong expertise with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK, coupled with ownership of cloud infrastructure automation and CI/CD platforms.
- Hands-on experience supporting large-scale event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and high-throughput workloads with a deep understanding of reliability, replay mechanisms, idempotency, backpressure, and operational scalability.
Desired Skills & Experience - Experience designing or supporting modern data platforms, lakehouse architectures, or open table formats.
- Operational knowledge of analytical, columnar, or OLAP database technologies in production environments.
- Advanced experience with observability, monitoring, alerting, operational readiness, and infrastructure-focused incident response practices.
