Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional, highly skilled, and innovative Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Agentic AI, Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, Databricks, and AWS Redshift.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver and self-starter who can independently identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and AI-driven transformation.
This is a high-visibility role requiring strong technical leadership, innovative thinking, excellent stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to deliver impactful solutions with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Engineering Optimization: Assess, evaluate, and optimize existing data engineering processes, workflows, and architectures to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.
- AI & Automation Enablement: Proactively identify opportunities to leverage automation, Generative AI, and Agentic AI to streamline data engineering operations and business processes.
- Proof of Concepts (POCs): Design, develop, and demonstrate innovative POCs, driving successful implementation and adoption of AI-powered solutions.
- Agentic AI Implementation: Apply hands-on expertise in Agentic AI and AI-driven solutions within data engineering environments.
- AI Across SDLC: Identify and implement AI-enabled solutions throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to improve development efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Problem-Solving & Innovation: Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities while proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to understand challenges, recommend innovative solutions, and build alignment.
- Technical Leadership: Independently drive technical initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring measurable business value.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering, including designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and workflows.
- Proven expertise in Agentic AI, Generative AI, and AI-driven automation within data engineering environments.
- Solid hands-on experience with Databricks and AWS Redshift.
- Experience identifying automation opportunities and translating innovative ideas into working POCs and production-ready solutions.
- Strong understanding of AI applications across the SDLC.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead initiatives and deliver results with minimal guidance.
- Strong innovation mindset with the ability to proactively recommend and implement improvements.
