Summary

Apple is where individual imaginations gather together, committing to the values that lead to great work. Every new product we build, service we create, or Apple Store experience we deliver is the result of us making each other's ideas stronger. That happens because every one of us shares a belief that we can make something wonderful and share it with the world, changing lives for the better. It's the diversity of our people and their thinking that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do. When we bring everybody in, we can do the best work of our lives. Here, you'll do more than join something - you'll add something.\\n\\nApple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible - all while staying connected to the people around us.\\n\\nThe Systems Frameworks team within Apple's Vision Products Group (VPG) is seeking a passionate software engineer to assist in the implementation of a foundational component for the next generation of algorithms that power the operating system\\nIn this role, you will collaborate with both algorithm and low-level system framework teams to develop systems that support a diverse range of use cases in a performant and memory-efficient manner.

As a member of the systems framework team, you'd be expected to contribute to the architecture and implementation of key pieces of foundational system frameworks. The work includes investigating and understanding existing frameworks and how they function and interact with the rest of the system, building prototypes to prove out that certain concepts work, creating proposals and getting buy-in from cross-functional partners and leaders, and driving high-quality performant implementation of the shipping product. What makes a person successful in this role is a curiosity to understand what goes on in detail, ability to debug complex problems, and being able to unblock themselves when working in an environment with many moving pieces at the same time.
