Summary

Job Title: Lead AI Engineer -- Automation & Enablement

Job Location: Irving, TX / Phoenix AZ | Onsite 5 days a week

Description:

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced a Lead AI Engineer who can design, build, and operationalize AI driven automation workflows, while also mentoring and training other engineers. This role combines hands-on delivery with technical leadership across the full SDLC, from design to cloud deployment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of AI/ML and GenAI based automation workflows (including NLP, LLMs, and RAG where applicable).
  • Own the end to end SDLC: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
  • Architect and deploy solutions on cloud platforms (Azure preferred) with proper CI/CD, security, observability, and scalability.
  • Define reference architectures, reusable pipelines, and best practices for AI/ML automation.
  • Actively train, mentor, and upskill team members, enabling broader adoption of AI/ML capabilities across delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into scalable AI driven solutions.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands on experience in AI/ML engineering, including model development, deployment, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience building automation workflows using AI/ML (e.g., intelligent decisions, predictions, NLP/LLM integration).
  • Solid proficiency in Python and/or modern frameworks (FastAPI/Flask), with experience exposing ML capabilities via APIs.
  • Experience with monitoring, drift detection, and retraining automation.
  • Proven ability to lead technically and train other engineers (not just individual contribution).
