The Opportunity

We are at an inflection point as we evolve into an AI-native services and solutions organization. We are looking for a senior leader who can build real-world AI products at speed and confidently engage with enterprise healthcare executives to shape transformational AI initiatives.

This is not a traditional engineering leadership role. It sits at the intersection of product, engineering, consulting, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate will lead AI solutions end-to-end, partner with sales teams during client engagements, drive rapid prototyping initiatives, and lead multidisciplinary teams across product management and software development.

Key Responsibilities Drive Revenue Through Engineering

• Partner with sales and account teams during enterprise client engagements
• Lead live demonstrations and proof-of-concept initiatives that influence deal outcomes
• Translate complex AI capabilities into compelling business value propositions for executive stakeholders
• Spend significant time in customer-facing solutioning, prototyping, and presales engineering activities

Build Fast, Build Right

• Rapidly prototype AI-powered solutions using modern AI development platforms and toolchains
• Lead AI SDLC and AI product management engagements for enterprise customers
• Architect and implement AI-native development practices and delivery frameworks
• Balance speed-to-market with scalable, production-grade engineering standards

Lead a High-Performing Team

• Build, mentor, and manage teams across product management and software engineering functions
• Establish engineering culture, hiring standards, and delivery excellence for the AI practice
• Partner with executive leadership to evolve internal AI capabilities and platforms
• Develop forward-deployed engineering teams with strong technical depth and client engagement skills

Shape the AI Practice

• Define and refine AI product development lifecycle (PDLC) and AI SDLC offerings
• Create repeatable demo assets, accelerators, templates, and reusable IP
• Contribute to thought leadership, market positioning, and go-to-market strategy

Required Qualifications Must Have

• Proven experience building AI-powered applications from prototype through production
• Strong hands-on expertise with modern AI development tools and coding assistants
• Ability to lead by example through rapid prototyping and innovation
• Experience in client-facing consulting, solution engineering, or forward-deployed engineering roles
• Demonstrated impact on revenue generation through demos, prototypes, or solution consulting
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional product and engineering teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and ownership
• Ability to travel frequently within the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare domain experience across payer or provider ecosystems
• Experience building AI agents, agentic workflows, or LLM-powered applications
• Background in platform, SaaS, or product engineering organizations
• Prior experience in technology consulting or management consulting environments

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 90 days, you will actively engage with customers, lead demos, and contribute to presales activities. Within six months, you will establish repeatable AI solution accelerators and contribute to measurable business growth. Within one year, you will help build a recognized AI engineering practice known for delivering scalable, impactful AI solutions.
