Project Overview
A large-scale enterprise Salesforce modernization initiative is seeking experienced Salesforce Developers to support a Production Simulation (ProdSim) program in a production-like Salesforce environment containing converted business data.
The selected resources will support end-users during onboarding, perform issue triage and analysis, validate reported defects, and coordinate with implementation and support teams during the pre-go-live support phase.
Important:
This role does not involve direct remediation of core application code. Responsibilities will focus on issue analysis, validation, troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination with implementation teams for resolution.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of Salesforce Development experience
- Strong experience in Salesforce Production Support / Tier 3 Support environments
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid/on-site model in the Sacramento, CA area preferred

Key Responsibilities
Tier 3 Production Support
- Triage, research, and analyze Tier 3 incidents and escalations
- Determine whether reported issues are bugs, configuration issues, or process-related
- Create and document defect tickets for implementation/support vendors
- Coordinate with Tier 2 support teams and project stakeholders
- Participate in support workshops and virtual office hours
End-User Support & Onboarding
- Support onboarding activities for end-users in the ProdSim environment
- Assist with user orientation sessions
- Support access validation activities
Communication & Coordination
- Draft release notes, workarounds, and support communications
- Coordinate planned downtime and production activity notifications
- Support communication between project stakeholders and support vendors
Reporting & Analysis
- Analyze incident trends and recurring issues
- Provide recommendations for operational improvements
- Support reporting and performance analysis activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and enterprise implementations
- Experience supporting highly integrated Salesforce ecosystems
- Experience with CI/CD and release management tools
- Experience in regulated or large public-sector environments preferred
